Meet Our Staff

	Patricia Brown Pat, the founding owner of the firm, is a CPA and has over thirty years of experience. She prepares business and individual income tax returns, compilation of financial statements as well as oversees accounting and payroll functions performed by other members of the firm. She is very diligent in keeping up with changes in the tax laws, and her attention to detail assures the best results for all of our clients. Maggie, her little Shihtzu, and Morris the cat, keep an eye on her place when she is out cheering her Boilermakers on at athletic events.
	Barbara Newsom Barb has many years of experience in accounting work and does much of the bookkeeping and accounting work for our business clients. She and Lou also prepare payroll, payroll taxes, property tax and sales tax forms. She keeps busy outside the office with lots of dancing – exhibitions with her ballroom partner and show routines (rockette style, jazz, tap, hula) with four different entertainment groups.
	Lou Harrist Lou works three or four days a week (full time during tax season). She also has many years of experience and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of accounting work. She does a lot of the same work as Barb, and either one of them can answer many of the questions that come up during the business week. A lot of her ‘off time’ is spent playing with her Yorkies, Miss Dallas and Miss Indy, motorcycling with her beau, Kelly, and traveling with her sisters.
	Jamie Albers Jamie is usually the first person you’ll be greeted by when coming in or calling. She enters a great deal of information into the computer, prepares several payrolls, and keeps our computer network system up and running. Her off time is spent with her two young children, Taylor and Miguel – school activities – scouts – cheerleading - and lots of softball and baseball in the summer. (Daughter Taylor made the All-Star team!)
	Nancy Pigg Nancy is the cheerful voice and smiling face you meet first when she is in the office part time. She takes care of our company business and helps Jamie with the general operation of the office – mailings – copies – office supplies – etc. She and husband Larry are also avid Purdue fans, and they’re enjoying their two new grandsons.
